Ini ayamnya.

This is his chicken

Ini ibu ayamnya.

This is his hen.

Nyonya

Madam

nyanyi

to sing

nyamuk

mosquito

Nyonya selalu nyanyi kepada nyamuk.

Madam always sings to the mosquitoes.




This is a time to learn to break the syllables correctly. For example: nyo-nya, nya-nyi, nyamuk, nya-la, mi-nyak, pe-nyu, ha-nyut, nye-dar.

Nyala

flame

minyak

oil

Sanyo takut akan nyala api lampu minyak.

Sanyo is afraid of the flame of the oil lamp

Penyu

sea turtle

hanyut

float

nyedar

sound asleep

Penyu hanyut dan nyedar.

The sea turtle is afloat and sound asleep.





After a child has become fully acquainted with the sound of "Ny", it will be easier to introduce words with affixes such as me-nya-pu, me-nye-pak, le-nyap and etc.
