Lesson 14: Akan

Wan can only afford to travel in Malaysia for vacation. One of my holidays was spent on driving to Keningau with parents. I didn’t expect anything extraordinary there until my honourable mother recommended me to tour Puan Ann’s garden.

Wan :

What is this fruit?

Puan Ann :

This is the magical fruit.
Please eat one.

Wan :

Okay…this fruit is quite tasty.

Puan Ann :

Come, I pick a lime.
Now, please eat this lime.

Wan :

I don’t want to eat.
That lime is sour.

Puan Ann :

After you eat the magical fruit, the sour lime will become sweet.

Wan :

Okay…I eat this sour lime.
Wow, it’s sweet!

Puan Ann :

After eating the magical fruit, bitter medicine will also become sweet.

Wan :

This fruit is indeed “magical”!
