We may eat Malaysia food a lot. Do we know their names? This common afternoon snack is not curry puff...

Because, it is not always stuffed with spicy curry. Sometimes you can get sardines and if you are fortunate to be served by a traditional cook, you get bean sprouts. It's basically a pastry with vegetable fillings. Here in KK, I only meet with potato and sweet potato fillings so far...It's name is ?epok-epok

This is another variation of the food above. It is sold as "ipu-ipu kelapa" at Gaya Street.

The next one is NOT pisang goreng. Because, we can't even see the shape of bananas in this fritter. The bananas preferably overripe are mashed beyond recognition.

Each chunk is about a spoonful of batter, fried till golden brown. People who use ice-cream scoop to drop the batter will get nicer looking kuihs.

My banana nuggets are ugly. Never mindlah, it has another name "kuih kodok" ugly as a toad. It's name in kata ganda is ?jemput-jemput. The single word actually means as much as the end of my fingers can hold.~~.
