Henna Flower in Bahasa Malaysia
Inai means to dye the nails red. Inai is also the name of the plant of henna flower in which the leaves can be pounded and used to dye the nails red.
"Inai", Henna. My late grandmother used to plant a henna tree in front of our oldhouse’s yard. The small flowers are most fragrant at night. The leaves are dried and processed into red dyes, a material for bridal body decoration in the weddings of some cultures including the Indians and Malays.
"Inai Ayam", Chicken Henna -literally ,it’s just the balsam- The flowers can substitute henna as natural nail dye.
