"Understand the lyric of that song ( Biarlah Rahsia) if you want to know about Siti's love story," that was what Siti Nurhaliza told Utusan Malaysia before her relationship with her now husband Datuk K became public knowledge. Composed by Indonesian singer/songwriter Melly Goeslow and lyric penned by Siti herself, this song describes obsctacles faced by two people in love. The song seems to imply there are people who disagree with Siti's choice and she is asking whoever it is to understanding her feelings. Obviously Siti had overcome her obstacles and this song became one of her biggest singles. Wan is not really keen about romantic love themes but the subsequent ripples created are interesting. It was a blue moon when I watched Channel 16 on Astro aimlessly. I was getting bored then this young lady appeared on a slot of Akademi Fantasia and instantly her voice electrified me . Later, I found out she is Farhan. It will not be fair to compare Siti and Farhan's performance of the same song - One is a very professional singer with numerous prestigious awards and the other is still an unpolished star. But here, just for the fun of enjoying voices of raw talent, I display Farhan's version and also of another young guy...aren't they great? :)
