A Personal Message for My Students

A blaze broke out at a fire station after a fireman left a cooking stove burning as firemen left the station to respond to emergency calls.

Kebakaran berlaku di sebuah balai bomba selepas seorang ahli bomba membiarkan dapur masak terbakar semasa ahli-ahli bomba meninggalkan balai untuk melayan panggilan kecemasan.

This fireman was alone at the station cooking dinner for his colleagues, when he himself was called out.

Ahli bomba tersebut sedang keseorangan di balai memasak makan malam untuk rakan-rakan sekerjanya, apabila dia sendiri dipanggil keluar.

In his haste to respond to the call, he forgot to turn the stove off. Ten fire trucks from other stations put out the fire, said Seiji Hori, a Nagoya City Fire Department official.

Akibat bergegas bertindak atas panggilan, dia terlupa memadamkan api dapur. Sepuluh buah kereta bomba dari balai lain memadamkan kebakaran itu, kata Seiji Hori seorang pegawai Balai Bomba Kota Nagoya.

"We are an institute that should be in a position to educate people about fire, so we are extremely sorry that such an incident happened," Hori added that they would consider ordering-in for dinner from now on.

"Kami merupakan sebuah institusi yang sepatutnya bertanggungjawab mendidik orang ramai tentang kebakaran, jadi kami amat mengesali bahawa perkara seperti ini berlaku," tambah Hori mereka membuat pertimbangan memesan makan malam dari sekarang.
